Established in 2001, the Forest Conservancy is the non-profit partner with the community who enjoys the Forest.

We promote the health and well-being of Forest visitors by:
	• Providing information about safety in hiking, exploring the unique features on the Forest, and caring for our natural and cultural resources.
	• Offering learning experiences that deepen the understanding of the value of your natural heritage.
	• Collaborating with the USDA Forest Service, and non-governmental partners, to build community, opportunity and awareness of the challenges facing your White River National Forest.


The Board of Directors includes outdoor enthusiasts, environmental leaders, and natural history buffs dedicated to public service. Join us in safeguarding the future of the Forest.
